1. About The Vendor Edit

The Vendor Edit (“the Directory,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a curated wedding vendor directory serving Lafayette and the Acadiana region of Louisiana. The Vendor Edit is owned and operated by Carlos Lerma Photography (CLP). By accessing or using this website at thevendoreditco.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

2. Vendor Listings

Vendor listings on The Vendor Edit are subject to review and approval by CLP at its sole discretion. We reserve the right to:

• Accept, reject, or remove any listing at any time, for any reason, without prior notice.
• Promote, feature, or highlight any listing at our discretion, including but not limited to homepage spotlights, social media features, and editorial placements.
• Modify, reorder, or reclassify listings to maintain editorial quality and user experience.
• Cancel any active subscription and remove the associated listing if we determine the listing violates these Terms or our editorial standards.

3. Ownership of Data

CLP retains full ownership of all data submitted to and stored within The Vendor Edit platform, including but not limited to vendor profiles, images, contact information, listing content, user accounts, inquiry records, and any other information provided through the website or its forms.

By submitting content to The Vendor Edit, you grant CLP a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute that content in connection with the operation and promotion of the Directory.

4. Subscriptions, Payments & Refund Policy

Paid listing plans are billed on a recurring monthly basis. Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time through your account page. CLP reserves the right to modify pricing, plan features, or discontinue any plan with reasonable notice to active subscribers.

All sales are final. No refunds will be issued under any circumstances. This includes but is not limited to: cancellations, partial billing periods, unused subscription time, plan downgrades, dissatisfaction with the service, or listings removed by CLP for violations of these Terms. By subscribing, you acknowledge and agree that you are not entitled to a refund of any amount paid.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to submit false, misleading, or inaccurate information about your business. Listings must represent legitimate wedding or event-related businesses actively serving the Acadiana region. We reserve the right to verify any information submitted and to remove listings that we determine do not meet our standards.

6. Intellectual Property

All design, editorial content, logos, and branding associated with The Vendor Edit are the property of CLP. Unauthorized reproduction or use is prohibited.

7. No Guarantees & Limitation of Liability

The Vendor Edit is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranty of any kind. CLP makes no guarantees, express or implied, including but not limited to: the number of inquiries or leads a listing will receive, placement or visibility in search results, business outcomes of any kind, uninterrupted or error-free availability of the platform, or the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any listing or content on the Directory.

Listing on The Vendor Edit does not guarantee bookings, inquiries, revenue, or any specific result. Results will vary and are not guaranteed. CLP is not responsible for any transactions, disputes, losses, or communications between couples and vendors discovered through the Directory.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Directory after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page when changes are made.
